Starlab to Launch in 2028

The Starlab project is set to launch in 2028, with the station being placed in low-Earth orbit. It will have a volume of 340 m3, including a large experimental compartment called the George Washington Carver Science Park (GWC), a docking station, a robotic arm, and a 60 kW propulsion system. While it will be smaller than the International Space Station (ISS), it is expected to provide “100% of the ISS’s payload” in terms of experimental and research capabilities.
