32 hard drives, 8 computers, and a weapon were taken from him.
The 33-year-old Russian is allegedly suspected of attacking vital infrastructure and significant industrial companies all over the world using the LockBit ransomware virus.
According to Europol, “He is also known for demanding unfathomable ransoms ranging from €5 million to €70 million.”

After a special operation in October 2021 in Ukraine, during which two of the Russian’s accomplices were captured, the arrest was made possible.
The suspect was detained during the raid on October 26 of this year, and two firearms, eight computers, 32 hard drives, and 400 000 euros in cryptocurrencies were taken from him.
Indictments against him are anticipated in the US.
