Apple has switched almost all of its PCs to its single-chip system, but the question remains what the company has to offer with the new Apple Mac Pro.
The new information suggests that it will be the M2 Extreme SoC. Our colleagues decided to speculate on the outcome of the new platform based on how Apple created the M1 series of solutions.
Specifically, while the M2 has 8 CPU cores, 10 GPU cores and 24GB of memory, the M2 Pro gets 10 CPU cores, 20 GPU cores and 48GB of memory. The M2 Max will offer the same CPU but with 40 GPU cores and 96GB of memory.

The M2 Ultra gets 24 CPU cores, 80 GPU cores and 192GB of memory, while the Max Pro M2 Extreme gets a whopping 48 CPU cores, 160 GPU cores and 384GB of general purpose memory. It is difficult to imagine the scale of such a platform and the performance it will deliver.
True, it was previously rumored that the Mac Pro will get a platform with a 40-core processor and up to 128 core GPUs, although this is also impressive. You will also be interested to learn about: Best Hardware Wallet
