iPhone 14 Pro – Camera and Microphone Indicators
A source familiar with Apple’s plans told us 9to5Mac that Apple will use the space between the iPhone 14 Pro‘s notch to display the camera and microphone indicators.
By default, Apple disables pixels between cutouts. However, when the camera or microphone is in use, a yellow or green light will illuminate in the center, depending on which sensor is active. This change will also allow Apple to display two dots at the same time.
Users will be able to tap the indicator between the notches to see which app is using the camera or microphone. Apple’s main goal is to have an indicator light, such as a green LED, visible on the MacBook when the camera is active.
The publication’s source added that Apple is preparing to redesign the camera app. The company is moving some settings to the top of the screen
