Chery has launched the revolutionary Chery Gene, which has an electric motor and solar panels on the roof.
The design of the car is based on the “Chery Ring” concept, which passes through the front and rear lights as if they were hidden inside the body in the door area.
Chery Gene is equipped with 23-inch wheels
It is a car about five meters long, about two meters wide and 1.75 meters high. It has 23-inch multi-spoke wheels, impressive ground clearance, a long wheelbase and a body with a sliding trunk. According to the developer’s idea, there are two quadcopters and an electric skateboard on the back.
Chery Gene driving assistance system
The car will support driverless systems and several driver assistance systems. The driver will have two main modes: In driving mode (Real), the steering wheel is close to the driver and the seat provides the driver with a comfortable seat behind the wheel.
Automatic driving mode
When entering the second mode, the steering wheel will move away from the driver to enter automatic driving mode, while activating the virtual reality (VR) glasses hidden under the steering wheel will automatically adjust the seat to semi-reclining mode.
Frameless hinged doors
Access to the cabin is through frameless hinged doors, without a central pillar, and inside there are four individual seats with slim backs. There are no conventional controls: there is a 27-inch screen in front.
