The top Ethereum developers provided a rough timeline for the conversion of the blockchain to the Proof-of-Stake consensus method during the subsequent session.
The Ethereum mainnet merge has been tentatively scheduled for around September 15th/16th.

According to co-founder of EthHub Anthony Sassano, “The Merge with the main Ethereum network is expected tentatively on September 15-16.”
The developers concurred throughout the call that September 6 will be the day for Bellatrix’s pre-merger upgrade.
When the total network complexity (TTD) hits 587500000000000000000 0000, The Merge will immediately activate together with the upgrade of Paris. On or around September 15th, this will occur.

The update dates could cause the Ethereum hash changes that effect the block interval to alter, therefore these dates are not set in stone.
The developers made a tentative plan to switch the blockchain to PoS on September 19, 2022, a little less than a month ago.
The Goerli test was successfully converted to a new algorithm by the Ethereum team today, August 11. The Merge’s final practice before airing on the major network was this one.
