No magnets this time and no ultra-compact housing. DJI has officially launched a new generation action camera – Osmo Action 3. There is nothing compact about its predecessor – the novelty lies in the original Osmo Action format. Of course, the Osmo Action 2 isn’t modular or “magnetic” either.

Osmo Action 3 Review
Osmo Action 3 has a 1/1.7-inch optical format image sensor and an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 155-degree field of view. The camera allows you to record 4K video at a speed of 120 frames per second. There were many complaints about the predecessor due to overheating, and now DJI guarantees that the Osmo Action 3 will be able to record 4K 60fps video until the battery dies. Based on this claim, it may overheat when recording 4K 120fps video.

Osmo Action 3 has the patented RockSteady 3.0 stabilization system (it also works with the highest quality 4K 120 f/s), as well as support for HorizonSteady technology, which prevents “horizon scrolling”.
