Avatar will return to theaters on September 23.
Avatar remains the most profitable film of all time, and it is returning to theatres this week. The film currently has $2.84 billion in revenue, and when it returns to the big screen, it will add to that sum. Despite mixed reviews and audience reception, Avatar is unquestionably one of the most visually stunning movies ever made.
Pandora, the planet where the movie is set, is filled with vibrant colors and impressive vistas that audiences want to revisit immediately.
