After years of waiting, Twitter users can finally edit their own posts. But there are still nuances. This time Americans have to wait.
Twitter launches editing feature
Twitter has launched the long-awaited post-editing feature.
The company has announced that it has started rolling out new features. However, it is initially only available to Twitter Blue subscribers and is only available in select countries. Interestingly, the US is not on the list.
New Twitter feature is available
This feature is now available for users in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It will be available in the US soon, but the exact date is unknown. After that, it can be used by users in other regions.
So, as part of the new feature, users can edit their own posts. First, 30 minutes after posting, second, you can edit your post 5 times. This means that it is usually very useful for correcting errors or mistakes, or for editing very important and relevant news. Also, if the user clicks on that icon, the original version of the message can be read, so this shouldn’t be harmful.
test went well, Edit Tweet is now rolling out to Twitter Blue members in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand!
