MacBook Air with M2 processor works faster on Windows 11 virtual than Dell XPS Plus, which is more costly. This finding was made by blogger Vadim Yuriev of Max Tech channel following the comparison of laptops.
He ran Windows 11 on MacBook Air via Parallels Desktop 18. The laptop has done excellent work with the virtual operating system.
At Geekbench 5, he obtained 1681 points in the single-kernel test and 7260 in the multiple-kernel test.

➥ Dell XPS Plus with regular, non-virtual Windows 11 earned 1182 points in the single-core Geekbench test and 5476 points in the multi-core test. These results were obtained when the laptop was running without charging. When the power to the Dell XPS Plus was connected, Geekbench performed 1548 on the single-core test and 8103 on the multi-core test.
