Over the last couple of weeks, reports have surfaced of a sighting and design leaks for the Xiaomi Modena EV, the company’s first ever electric car model.
Xiaomi’s Response to Design Leaks: Generic Template Supplied by BAIC Mold & Plastic
In response to these leaks, the general manager of PR, Wang Hua, stated that while the recent leaks are related to the company’s upcoming EV model, the design is a generic template supplied to Xiaomi by BAIC Mold & Plastic.
This statement is likely true considering the design sketch leaks also revealed the suppliers list for the EV, which had also listed BAIC. In other words, apart from the covered sighting of the vehicle, we still have no real idea as to what the Modena EV will look like.
