For All Mankind

I really enjoyed “For All Mankind,” it’s one of the best series I’ve seen in recent years. The show is set at the beginning of the space race, but in an alternate reality where the USSR has not only sent the first man into space, but also the first to land on the moon. This prompts the US to pursue even more ambitious plans in an effort to catch up and surpass the Soviet Union.

It’s an interesting concept that imagines an alternative history of space exploration. If you haven’t already watched the series, I highly recommend giving it a chance. I don’t think you’ll regret it. The third season is already available.

Altered Carbon

“Altered Carbon” is a popular series that many people may have already heard about. It takes place in a distant future where people have developed technology that allows them to transfer their consciousness from one body to another.

In my opinion, the first season is significantly better than the second. The plot centers around the murder of a wealthy man who has transferred his consciousness into a new body, and the main character becomes involved in the investigation. If you’re a fan of the genre and haven’t seen the series, I believe it’s a must-watch. According to IMDb, the show has a rating of 9.0.

Westworld

“Westworld” is an older series that first aired in 2016, but I recently had the chance to watch the first season. Initially, I didn’t think I would enjoy it because I’m not a fan of Westerns.

However, after seeing it recommended by readers of my previous publication, I decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did. While the series isn’t focused on outer space, the concept is still interesting. It’s about an amusement park filled with androids set in the Wild West where wealthy customers can live out their fantasies.

To entice skeptics like myself to watch it, I should mention that the series was the most-watched on HBO at the time of its release. According to IMDb, it has a rating of 8.5.

Firefly

“Firefly” was once a highly talked-about TV series that was beloved by science fiction fans. However, it was released in 2002, so younger audiences may have missed out on what is, in my opinion, a masterpiece in the genre.

The show follows the crew of the Firefly-class spaceship as they struggle to make a living through smuggling. Along the way, they face a number of challenges and eventually become like a family. “Firefly” was so popular that it inspired a feature film called “Serenity.”

Even years later, the special effects and overall production of the series hold up well. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend giving “Firefly” a watch. According to IMDb, it has a rating of 9.0.

Dark Matter

“Dark Matter” is a decent series that is worth checking out if you have some time to spare. It follows a group of people who wake up on a spaceship with no memory of who they are or how they got there.
