Tesla asked scientists from The Dawn Project to remove all videos of a Tesla Model 3 autopilot dropping a baby model.
Dina Eskin, Tesla’s deputy general counsel, wrote to Dan O’Dowd, the founder of the Dawn Project. If not, the company promises to sue.
Tesla believes these videos are defamatory and interfere with the functionality of Autopilot. After The Dawn Project was released, Tesla owners began shooting similar autopilot test videos. However, YouTube is gradually removing these videos.
