Royal Caribbean International presented a video on their official YouTube channel showing the largest cruise liner in the world, called Icon of the Seas.

The construction of the Icon of the Seas has already begun, and it is expected to launch in 2023. The liner is expected to embark on its first Caribbean cruise in 2024. It is the first ship to be powered by liquefied natural gas.

Icon of the Seas will have 2,805 staterooms, which will be able to accommodate a total of 5,610 people in two-person staterooms.

2,350 people are part of the crew. The maximum passenger capacity can reach 9,950 if more than two people are seated in a cabin. The liner will have 20 decks with lots of stores, Jacuzzis, 40 restaurants, a water park, and even a concert hall with fountains.

The ship will contain seven pools and six waterslides. Icon of the Seas should also have the highest waterfall, the highest water slide, the largest water park, and the first suspended landscape pool among seagoing vessels.

The displacement of the vessel will be 250,800 tons at a length of 365 meters.
