Science Co., Ltd., a Japanese company that produces shower heads and other similar products, intends to produce a washing machine for people.
The novelty is called Project Usoyaro and will be presented at an exhibition in Osaka in 2025. It is worth noting that this system is being developed based on an enclosed ultrasonic bathtub, which Sanyo Electric showed in 1970.
New Bathtub
The new bathtub will be equipped with sensors to monitor the user’s health indicators, such as heart rate. The system will also include a screen and speakers to output calming images and sound.

Only images of the concept have appeared online, so it is not clear whether there is already a finished sample. However, according to the developers, such a bath will allow the user to relax and wash after a hard day. The entire process will take about 15 minutes.
It is worth noting that the Sanyo Electric prototype did not make it to the market, but a new version is planned to enter mass production. It’s not clear whether the novelty will be available outside of Japan or not.
