Specs Of The Junior Model – Snapdragon 4 Gen 1
Specs are only partially known, with the entry-level model reportedly running at 2GHz, which is 15% and 10% higher than its predecessor in terms of CPU power and graphics power. The processor uses 2 powerful cores and 6 energy-saving cores. There is talk of support for a 108-megapixel camera. There are Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters and 5G with 6 GHz. mmWave is not supported. This means artificial intelligence and gaming features will be supported, according to the slides.
Specs Of The Older Model – Snapdragon 6 Gen 1
Older models have 35% better CPU performance and 40% better GPU performance. The frequency is 2.2 GHz. This is also thanks to the support for cameras with a resolution of up to 200 megapixels. It already uses 4 powerful cores and 4 economy cores. This is thanks to the Snapdragon X62 5G modem, which meets the sub-6GHz and millimeter-band requirements. In addition, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 are supported.
Smartphones to Receive the New Processors
It is not clear which smartphones will get the new processor. They can appear not only on phones, but also on tablets. It was previously reported that Qualcomm and MediaTek will manufacture the new platform at TSMC’s factories instead of Samsung’s.
