Over 100 journalists were given the opportunity to see behind-the-scenes presentations, as well as play the game hands-on. December 7 will be the last day to get hands-on impressions and the event embargo will lift.
The Game Awards
All the attendees were invited to watch The Game Awards as they would be making some announcements during the presentation.
It’s believed the announcement will be a release date, which was previously reported by Xbox Era’s Sikmamikanico and WindowsCentral’s Jez Corden.

Diablo 4 Open Beta
Pre-orders will be available at The Game Awards, according to a leaked Activision Blizzard document earlier this year.
There is also an open beta for Diablo 4 in some PlayStation Store APIs.
